ABOUT ME
In 2014 I did a yoga teacher training course more as a personal journey than to teach, but I was immediately hooked and by the end of the year I had completed the Yoga Alliance 200 hour Teacher Training in Seasonal Yoga with https://seasonalyoga.net and knew I’d found the next chapter in my life.

My fascination with Yoga has not diminished from the start of that course and between January 2018 and August 2019 I completed a Yoga Alliance 300 hour Teacher Training with Jason Crandell. https://www.jasonyoga.com

In March 2023 I did a 40 hour Yin Yoga teacher training with Norman Blair https://www.yogawithnorman.co.uk/yin-yoga
and in October 2024 I went to India for 10 days of teacher training at the Rishikul Yogshala in Kerala https://www.rishikulyogshala.org

All my teachers have inspired my personal practice and my teaching. Yoga is a huge subject and I never stop learning on my path as a student, and so continue to evolve as I follow my path as a teacher.
Yoga has provided me with the tools to create personal growth in many directions. The idea that we can impact our health mentally as well as physically through a consistent yoga practice is endlessly inspiring.

I create classes around the energy of the seasons with a strong emphasis on the breath. I like my students to find their own pace and listen to their bodies.

Every person comes to yoga for a different reason, with a different body and their own personal circumstances.
My classes give me the opportunity to get to know my students and their needs and I enjoy seeing their practice change over time.
I see growth in their physical practice and encourage self reflection - in yoga this is svadhyaya or self study.

Through the lens of yoga the practice of self reflection leads to self awareness.
We are encouraged to observe our thoughts, emotions and reactions while we practice, peeling back layers of deeply ingrained habits and creating space to make gradual and permanent shifts in how we relate to ourselves and to the world.
We can cultivate this on the mat and then take this awareness into our lives.

I love teaching yoga and nothing is more rewarding than the change in energy in the room from the beginning of a class to the end.
